Ballet

Classes are offered to students as young as 2 years old through to adults. Croydon School of Dance’s (CSOD) Creative Ballet program is designed for 2-6 year olds and develops coordination, self confidence, musicality and performance skills in a fun, safe and age appropriate environment. From the age of 7, students can begin to learn the Southern Federation of Dance (SFD) syllabi; a world recognised classical ballet syllabi. CSOD also offers a Pre Pointe Program for students aged 11 years and over. This program works to build strength in the ankles, legs, back and core to ensure students are safely prepared for Pointe work. Once students have completed the Pre-Pointe Program, they are welcomed into the Pointe Class, a class that continues to build strength and further technique.

CSOD follows the Southern Federation of Dance (SFD) Syllabus for Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Dance Fusion.

Parents and families are welcome to watch the last class of each Term except Term 4 (Recital Practice).
